I was born in 1981 as the first Space Shuttle "Columbia" was landing. The mission was a success and the crew proved that we now had the ability to travel into space, orbit around our planet Earth and return safely. In my opinion the pilots successfully executed the ultimate "Proof of Concept" which I have been tirelessly chasing ever since.
